Pay day for civil servants in Nasarawa State, North-Central Nigeria for the month of June will come in earlier than usual following a directive by the State Government
Governor Abdullahi Sule in a statement signed by himself in Lafia, the state capital said the decision is to assist everyone in the state plan ahead of the celebration of sallah slated for June 16.

The Governor also directed chairmen of the 13 local government areas of the state to ensure that they pay workers’ salaries before the Sallah celebration.
He said the coming celebration provides the opportunity to test the capacity and fact that local governments in Nasarawa State have savings which can be used when the need arises.
