Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri says Nigeria will have been better if its leaders exhibited self sacrifice and true service to humanity as he felicitated with muslim faithful on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir.
The Governor, was speaking when he hosted the Bayelsa State Muslim community to a banquet in Government House, Yenagoa.
He admonished them to use the season to reflect and promote the virtues of obedience, and self sacrifice.
It was another moment of wining and dinning when the Bayelsa state Governor Douye Diri hosted the Muslim community as they marked the festival of sacrifice.

Represented by his deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, he admonished Muslims to show the true reflection of the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.
The leadership of the state council of Islamic Affairs appreciated the Governor for carrying them along in the scheme of things, describing the show of love as an unforgettable experience.
The Eid-el Kabir offered opportunity where Muslim worshippers demonstrated good deeds, happiness as well as supporting the needy.
