Eid-el Kabir: Zamfara Acting Gov Urges Muslims To Intensify Prayers For Peace

Muslim faithful filed out early at seven-thirty in the morning to the various grounds on Friday to observe the Eid prayer, marking the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

At the Gusau Central Eid Ground, where the Chief Imam, Sambo Dan-Alhaji, led the two-raka’t prayers, he called on Muslims to use the occasion to intensify prayers to Almighty Allah to bring an end to the security and economic challenges bedevilling Zamfara State in particular, and Nigeria in general

The Acting Governor, Mani Mummuni; the Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Nakwada; the Chief of Staff, Government House, Gusau, Moukhtar Lugga; the Emir of Gusau, Ibrahim Bello; and other government officials observed their Eid prayer at the Central Eid Ground.

He thanked the people for their support for his administration, urging them to continue to pray for the return of peace and stability in the state and the country at large.

In a similar vein, the Chief of Staff of the Government House, Gusau, Moukhtar Lugga, called on the residents to continue to support the administration’s desire to transform the state and to make it at par with other states of the federation.

The Muslim annual festival was observed amidst heightened security across the various Eid grounds in the state.

The Eid-el Kabir Prayer was observed peacefully without any security breach at the time of filing this report
