All Progressives Congress, APC stakeholders from Ekiti State stormed the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja on Friday to protest the disqualification of a Governorship aspirant, Kayode Ojo claiming the party failed to provide a level playing ground for aspirants.

Ojo was disqualified from participating in the Ekiti State APC Governorship Primary scheduled for October 27 2025 by the 179th National Working Committee meeting citing non-conformity with the provisions of the party and the Electoral Act.

The party later announced the incumbent Governor Biodun Oyebanji as the APC concensus candidate for the Governorship election
