The Young Progressives Party (YPP) has elected Debo Ranti Ajayi as the party’s Governorship candidate for the June 18th, 2022 Governorship Election.
Debo Ranti Ajayi was a former Commissioner during the first term of governor Kayode Fayemi between 2011-2014.

Announcing the results of the primary election, the returning Officer Enu Bamaiyi said ranti emerged unopposed .
Debo ranti ajayi in his acceptance speech expressed confidence of the party’s victory in the Governorship Election in June .
Meanwhile Australian based medical Doctor, Oluwole Oluyede has emerged governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress following his victory in the primary election conducted in Ado Ekiti.
