Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika says the new international airport in Ekiti State, South-West Nigeria will contribute to the socio economic development in the state.
Sirika was speaking on Saturday in Ado Ekiti during the inauguration of the Ekiti State Airport. He said the initiative will further assist in the development of the agro allied potentials of Ekiti State.

In his speech, out-going Ekiti Governor, Kayode Fayemi said the project is in fulfilment of one of his campaign promises to serve the state till the last hours of his tenure.
