Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji on Friday presented a budget estimate of N415.57 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with focus on consolidating the achievements of his administration over the past three years to the state House of Assembly.
Presenting the budget before members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly during plenary at the Old Assembly Complex, Ado-Ekiti, Governor Oyebanji said the 2026 budget is designed to ensure the completion of all ongoing infrastructure projects across the state.
The Governor explained that the budget would prioritize investment in agriculture and its value chain, as well as promote wealth creation and improved welfare for citizens, in line with the Shared Prosperity Agenda of his administration.

In his remarks, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, commended the Governor for his commitment to transparency and development.
He assured that the lawmakers would scrutinize the budget with diligence, patriotism, and impartiality to ensure that the 2026 Appropriation Bill truly reflects the aspirations and needs of the people of Ekiti
State.
