The Association of Resident Doctors at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, has embarked on an indefinite strike.
The chairman of the Association of Resident Doctors in the hospital Dr. Niyi Olaoye told ait.live exclusively in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, that the resident doctors have not received their full salary since 2018, hence the strike.
He lamented that the reduction in the subvention to the institution by the State Government has also contributed to the non-payment of salary to the doctors in the last two months.
