Ekiti State To Partner Solid Minerals Ministry For Mutual Economic Benefits

In an effort to enhance socio-economic development in the solid minerals sector, the Ekiti State government in the Southwest region of Nigeria has indicated her readiness to collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals Development to create wealth and enhance employment opportunities in the sector.

The State Governor, Abiodun Oyebanji made this known when he paid a courtesy visit on the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake in Abuja.

Speaking on the motive of his visit, Governor Oyebanji explained that he has come to discuss how Ekiti State can partner with the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development and ensure the state keys into its vision so as to derive maximum socio-economic benefits for his people.

Responding, the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake said Ekiti state is amongst the states endowed with both natural and mineral resources, with benefits of highly competitive cost in exploration and extractions
