The Presidential and National Assembly elections in Nasarawa state was peaceful with massive turnout of voters across the 13 local government areas of the state.
Voters came out as early as 7 am, the arrival of INEC officials and election Materials to commence the exercise was a bit late at some places visited.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC before Saturday February 25th had assured the citizens of its readiness for the election. On election day, the high voter turnout was affected by the challenge of logistics
The Nasarawa state Governor voted in Gudi his home town commended INEC and security agencies for the peaceful polls in the state.
Overall, voters in most Polling unit across Nasarawa state say apart from the late arrival of election materials and officials they are optimistic that their votes will count.
