An Akwa Ibom State High Court sitting in Uyo, the state capital has adjourned to February 24, 2022 the trial of a University of Uyo lecturer Professor Ignatius Uduk for electoral offences

At the resumed hearing of the case and after cross examination of all witnesses, the trial judge gave the adjournment for adoption of written addresses by both counsels.

Professor Ignatius Uduk was the Returning Officer for the Akwa Ibom Governorship / Essien Udim State Constituency election in 2019 .
