Eleven persons have been reportedly killed in Igama, Edumoga Ehaje, Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State by yet to be identified assailants.
According to independent sources, almost all buildings in Igama Community have been razed down by the attackers.
Residents of neighbouring villages like Ogege have fled their homes for fear of attack.

Confirming the unfortunate incident in a group chat platform, police public relations officer Sewuese Anene confirmed the attack. According to him,”information about the attack was received and more officers sent to assist Okpokwu division in managing this,I am yet to receive details.”
