Less than 48 hours after he was suspended from office as the Secretary of the Katsina State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Shitu Shitu has resigned from the office.

In a letter personally signed by him, Shitu said, “I am pleased to notify you about my intended resignation as the State Secretary of our great party, the All Progressive Congress, APC, with effect from 27th February 2023”.

The embattled secretary of the katsina APC further said, “I wish to therefore seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude for the singular honour given to me to offer my humble and modest contributions in serving the APC at various capacities, particularly the exalted positions of the Chairman and Secretary of the party”.
