The Emir of Argungu, Muhammadu Sama’ila-Mera has tasked politicians in Kebbi State to be united and pursue common goals of peace, progress, and socioeconomic development of the state.
He gave the task while receiving Kebbi State Deputy Governor of Kebbi State Umar Tafida and Members of All progressives Congress (APC) in his palace in Argungu town.
The Monarch observed that the best way to move the state forward was for the political elites in the state to unite themselves and pursue what would take the state to next level of development.

The Emir stressed the need for people to support government policies and programmes at all levels to attract more dividends of democracy to their respective areas.
The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State said they were in the Emir’s palace to pay homage and seek royal blessings.
The Deputy Governor who Represented Governor Nasir Idris appreciated the traditional ruler for his fatherly advice and support to the present administration at all levels.
He promised to work hand-in-hand with traditional institutions for the betterment of the state.
