The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has unveiled the newly introduced Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) code in Kano.
Speaking at the event, the Governor of the apex bank, Godwin Emefiele said the code will enhance financial transaction and inclusion under the digital currency transaction.

Emefiele who was represented by his Deputy, Folashodun Shonubi said the efforts are geared towards making financial transactions more easy and safe for the general populace.
He said the eNaira is out to transform the country’s economy and promote financial inclusion.
Financial experts and consultants at the unveiling laud the initiative.
In his remarks, Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje represented by the Special Adviser on Cabinet Office, Sagir Mohammed said the introduction of the new naira USSD code is a great development in the enhancement of financial transactions.
