Some leaders and organizers of the Endbadgovernance protest which held in the country from the first to the tenth of August 2024 have been arraigned by the federal government for alleged treason, inciting to mutiny and intent to destabilize Nigeria.
The ten persons who were arraigned before Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court are Michael Daramoye also known as Lenin, Adeyemi Abayomi, Suleiman Yakubu, Opaoluwa Simon and Angel Innocent.
Others are Buhari Lawal, Mosiu Sadiq, Bashir Bello, Nuradeen Khamis and Abdulsalam Zubairu.

The defendants who all pleaded not guilty were arraigned on a six-count charge of treason, intent to destabilize Nigeria, conspiracy to commit felony and inciting to mutiny which is an offence punishable under section 97 of the penal code.
The defendants are equally accused of levying war against the state in order to intimidate the president by attacking and injuring police officers and burning police stations, high complex, NCC complex, Kano printing press, government house, Kano and several other buildings.
