Trafficking in persons has over the years continued to attract the attention of some civil society organizations in Nigeria.
Only on Saturday in Abuja, some civil rights activists joined the rest of the world to sensitize Nigerians on the need to end human trafficking in the country.
These activists also explained the risks in the illegal trade and advised Nigerians to support relevant authorities in efforts to stamp out the menace in the country.
The theme for the 2022 world Day Against trafficking in persons is, “Focuses on the role of technology as a tool that can both enable and impede human trafficking.”
