Kogi State Government has commended the way the people of the State conducted themselves during the #EndSARS protest; making sure it did not degenerate into anarchy.
In a statement made available by the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo, the State Government said while the people of Kogi expressed their displeasure; they did within the limits of the law and yielded to wise counsel of Governor Yahaya Bello.
The Governor backed the #EndSARS campaign; condemning Police brutality and other acts of human rights abuse.
The statement called on citizens to have confidence in President Mohammadu Buhari.
The statement added that the Governor, Government, and people of Kogi State sympathise with those who lost property and their loved ones in the protests.
