Ondo State government says those who destroyed public and private property during the #EndSARS protest hijacked by hoodlums will not go unpunished.
State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu who visited some local government areas where wanton destruction took place, confirmed that some arrests have been made.
The Governor while addressing journalists on Sunday, condemned the mindless destruction by the youths and said the government’s action became imperative in order to serve as a deterrent to others.

He announced that a special committee will be set up to assist people who lost their property during the protest.
Part of the structure torched by the irate hoodlums includes the Okitipupa correctional centre, the Magistrate Court in Akure, party secretariats of both PDP and APC , amongst others.
