A team of diplomats from around the world who are in Enugu State for a maiden educational conference, have commended Governor Peter Mbah for developing what they call, a model of experiential education.
They believe the model serves as a prime example of the type of education needed across Africa at this time.
The diplomats said this after an assessment tour of Enugu Smart School, Owo, in Nkanu East LGA, one of the completed schools in the State’s initiative to construct 260 smart schools.
Led by Dr. Tivlumun Ahure, Director General Global of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) and International Relief Fund in Special Consultative Status with the UN, the visiting diplomats recommended Enugu State’s education development model to other Nigerian subnational governments and the global community.
They endorsed it as a robust framework to eradicate poverty, contain insecurity, and improve living standards.
