The Enugu State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has dismissed the petition filed by the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, and its candidate, challenging the declaration of Governor Peter Mbah and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as winners of the March 18 poll.
The Justice M. K. Akano-led three-man panel held that the conduct of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC was in substantial compliance with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2023.
