Edeoga told Journalists at his Enugu residence late Thursday, that he is disappointed with the electoral umpire over the final outcome of the election, after over forty-eight hours of deadlock in the collation of the results.
The Labour Party candidate is accusing INEC of not doing the right thing in what he called a sham review of the contentious results from the two Local Government Areas of Nsukka and Nkanu East, where there were alleged cases of election violence, thuggery and other irregularities.
Edeoga who polled 157,552 votes to be the first runner-up as against Peter Mbah who won after scoring 160,895 votes, insists that his party is in the process of challenging the results in the Court of law.
The Labour Party governorship candidate commends the Party’s supporters in the State for voting for a change, urging them to remain law abiding for the progress of Enugu State.
