Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu state said that he will continue to make sports development a priority in the state.
He made this known when Enugu Rangers International lifted their eighth Nigerian Premier Football League title in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
The colorful event took place after their last match of the season where President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF along with the Governors of Plateau and Enugu states presented the trophy to the league winners. Governor Mbah spoke plans for the team after the presentation ceremony.

The league-winning coach, Fidelis Elechukwu exposed some of the strategies used to lead the Enugu Rangers side to their eighth premier league title.
He was also grateful for the show of love he got from the Jos fans, who came out in their numbers to cheer his team.
Enugu Rangers International amassed a total of 70 points to become champions of the 2023-2024 NPFL season and also secure ticket to represent the country on the continental stage.
