Nigerian Youth have been advised to see Sports as a unifying factor and to use the opportunities it provided to enhance themselves especially at this critical period of economic downturn occasioned by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The Enugu State Commissioner for youth and sports, Manfred Nzekwe stated this at the inauguration of the State Kick boxing Association board in Enugu, South East Nigeria.
The commissioner charged the board members to be proactive and bring their wealth of experience to bear in discharging their duties.
Responding, the new Chairman of the Enugu state kick boxing association, Amos Oshi expressed gratitude to government for finding them worthy to serve and promised to deliver on their given mandate.

The Sports of Kick boxing popularity has increased in Nigeria and
it became officially approved and scoring event during the Gateway Games of 2006 National Sports Festival in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
