Enugu State Government in South-East Nigeria, has approved the emergency construction of the 22-kilometre road in Isiuzo Local Government Area, connecting multiple communities and border areas with Benue and Ebonyi states.
The decision, reached during the State Executive Council meeting at the Council Chamber, Friday, is part of broader efforts to bolster security and foster development in that area which has been plagued with security challenges.

Commissioner for Environment, Professor Sam Ugwu, briefing Journalists outlined additional initiatives including military deployment, plans for a barracks, and agricultural projects aimed at fostering peace and prosperity.
