Journalists were on Thursday prevented from gaining access to the site of the collapsed Banana Island 7-storey building by Estate Security Guards.
Emergency responders who rushed to the scene shortly after the incident occurred on Wednesday, said they have since recovered seven persons.

The Southwest Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, while speaking on the latest collapse, said that no life was lost, as seven persons were rescued alive, and are presently receiving treatment.
