Former Governor of Bauchi State and one-time National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Adamu Muazu, has inaugurated road projects in Zamfara State. The projects were initiated and executed by Governor Dauda Lawal, as part of his efforts to renew and place the state among the comity of states of the Federation.
Muazu says the roads meet the best international standards, and he lauded the Governor for embarking on execution of quality projects and numerous developmental strides recorded within one year in office.
Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal assumed office a year ago, with his Rescue Mission and Urban Renewal Agenda, aimed at making Gusau, the capital city, at par with other states of the Federation, in terms of good infrastructure, especially road network.

He awarded contracts for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of several township roads. Some have been completed while others have reached 95% completion.
According to Governor Lawal, the road from Freedom Square to the Government House Junction, and from Freedom Square to Nasiha Junction was initiated and executed by the present administration, within one year in office.
Former Governor Muazu, who performed the inauguration of the Gusau township road projects, described their qualities as remarkable to ease movement and improve economic activities.
The Gusau township roads have been completed, with the installation of modern solar-powered street lights, and traffic lights, to regulate the movement of motorists, and prevent road crashes in Zamfara State.
