The Imo State Police Command says it will ensure it apprehends the killers of one of its officers, Inspector Charles.
Charles whose surname was not disclosed, served as orderly to a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Chiji Collins.
Charles had been kidnapped last month alongside the driver of a Toyota Hilux pickup van in the Ohaji/ Egbema area of the state, and even as the unnamed driver was found dead almost immediately, the corpse of the Police officer was found in a bush in the Oguta Local Government Area some days ago.

The command’s spokesperson has said that the Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Barde, has commissioned a team of police investigators to apprehend the killers of Inspector Charles, who is attached to the Operations department of the Police Command Headquarters in Owerri.
