Nasarawa State government is to reopen public and private schools on October 5, 2020 for continuation of the 2019-2020 academic session.
Commissioner for education, Fatu Sabi made this known in an exclusive interview with ait.live in Lafia, the state capital.
The commissioner said the state is very ready to reopen schools and that all covid-19 precautionary measures would be put in place to ensure the safety of all pupils and students as they go back to school
Fatu said parents can now allow their children return to school as the state government has decontaminated schools in preparation for their resumption and advised that parents should make sure their children and wards are always wearing their faces mask when going to school
