Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva is participating in the virtual meeting of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC along with other non-OPEC members.

The meeting which had been postponed to Thursday is to decide on historic oil cut as the Coronavirus pandemic ravages demand and prices in the international market.
There has been a proposal supported by Saudi Arabia and Russia to cut oil production by at least 10 percent in order to save the unprecedented drop in global oil prices.
