There was tension on Wednesday night after a loud blast was heard at a beer joint in Kabba, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
One Aisha who was injured by the explosion and evacuated to the hospital with others injured, later died while the rest are currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government, Moses Olorunleke and the Police command confirmed to ait.live that the explosion was from a domestic gas.
The Chairman of Kabba Bunu Local Government Area said security agencies have been mobilized to the scene to restore normalcy and safety of lives and property, adding that investigations have commenced into the matter.
