Reports of an attack on the residence of Bishop Matthew Kukah have been dismissed by the Nigerian Army as misleading and unfounded.
The Army, through its 8 Division, clarified that no such incident occurred in Sokoto State, contrary to claims circulating on social media, including Facebook.

It further confirmed that Bishop Kukah remains safe and is actively carrying out his Easter obligations, while the Sokoto Catholic Cathedral is also secure.
