The wife and daughter of Anyinu Shekwolo Adamu kidnapped by gunmen at Nuku village in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory over two weeks ago have regained their freedom.
The two victims regained their freedom on Sunday after a ransom was paid to the abductors by members of the Anyinu family.
Though the amount of money paid as ransom has not been made known to AIT the only son of the family Anyinu Iko Shekwolo who confirmed their return to the family house says the two victims are in good condition.

Iko Shekwolo says his mother and his sister who are the victims will be taken to hospital for medical examination.
It could be recalled that the victims, a mother and her daughter were kidnapped in their house on Friday the 3rd of January 2020 at about 11.30 pm after the gunmen shot their father who was once a victim of abduction in 2019 on the hand.
Until their release the FCT Police Command have not made any official statement on the matter and they are yet to confirm the release of the victims from the hands of their abductors.
