FCT administration has warned church leaders and followers to comply with COVID-19 guidelines or risk shut down of worship centers during the cross over night.
Head, Media and Public Enlightenment of the FCT Administration COVID-19 Task Force, Ikharo Attah who issued the warning while answering questions from journalists ahead of crossover night in Abuja noted that adequate monitoring and enforcement will be carried out by the team to ensure compliance.
Attah noted that the team will be working in collaboration with religious leaders to ensure COVID-19 compliance in different worship centers in FCT.

According to Attah, every worship centre found contravening the COVID-19 protocol will be made to face the wrath of the law.
While saying that there is no time frame for worshipers to close, Attah noted that their concern is for the churches to follow COVID-19 protocol by wearing face mask, ensuring social distancing and washing and sanitizing their hands before entering the churches.
