The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has issued indefinite suspensions to two of its board members, Babatunde Akintade Bocknor and Ezeh Ngozi Victoria, following misconduct during the recent bye-election for the office of the 1st Vice Chairman of the FCT FA.

The committee’s investigation, which included witness testimonies and review of documentary and audio-visual evidence, focused on allegations of serious violations committed before, during, and after the election held on November 30, 2024, in Abaji.

Despite being invited to present their side of the story, both Bocknor and Ngozi failed to appear before the committee without formal explanation.

Babatunde Akintade Bocknor was found guilty of incitement, verbal and physical assault, and of recruiting thugs to disrupt the electoral process while Ngozi Ezeh misled the public with her utterances on national radio

she made serious allegations against the FCT FA Secretary and Chairman, which the committee deemed malicious and damaging to the reputation of the Football Association.

As consequence of their actions, Ngozi and Bucknor have been suspended indefinitely from all football-related activities in the FCT.
