Federal Capital Territory, FCT High Court in Abuja has struck out defamation case against the senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Udagahan, filed by the federal government.
Justice Chizoba Orji struck out the suit following the application by the prosecution lawyer to discontinue the suit.
The defense lawyer, however, moved for the matter to be struck out following the prosecution’s application for discontinuance. The court was also urged to release all documents belonging to the defendant and her surety.

The prosecution counsel did not oppose the application made by the defense counsel for the matter to be struck out, prompting the court to strike out the suit.
