FCT leads a second day as 10 states record 168 new Covid-19 cases

There are 10 states reporting 168 new Covid-19 infections in Nigeria as total number of confirmed cases rises to 66,607.

The Federal Capital Territory Abuja leads affected states for the second consecutive day with 61 new cases; Lagos-50; Kaduna-27; Oyo-12; Rivers-6; Katsina-5; Ogun-3; Kwara-2; Edo and Kano-1 each.

Meanwhile, 70 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases now 62,311.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirms another Covid-19 related death in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll put at 1,169.
