The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has appointed Chidi Amadi as his Chief of Staff.
Amadi’s appointment was contained in a statement released by the Director of press to the FCT Minister, Anthony Ogunleye on Friday.
Amadi has vast experience in public service and has held several strategic political positions including Chairman of Obio /Akpor Local Government Area and Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State.
With his appointment as Chief of Staff, Amadi is expected to support the FCT Minister in the formulation and execution of policies and programs aimed at advancing the development agenda of the Federal Capital Territory
He will also provide strategic guidance as well as ensuring the smooth functioning of the Minister’s office.
Amadi will be sworn into office on Monday 18th of March, 2024 along side other appointees including the pioneer head of the FCT civil service, Samuel Atang.
