The Minister of the Federal capital territory, Muhammad Bello has appointed Gardiya Bawa as the new Solicitor-General of the Federal capital territory administration
In a statement signed by the Director of human resource management, Muhammad Bashir on behalf of the Permanent secretary, Bawa replaces Yusuf Wodi who is due for retirement in October 2022

Wodi is expected to proceed on three months leave after he served a notice of retirement to the federal capital territory administration.
Bawa’s appointment takes effect from 1st October 2022 when Wodi retires from service
Until his appointment, Bawa was the Director Legal Services, Land Administration at the Abuja Geographic Information Systems AGIS
