The minister of the federal capital territory, Muhammad Bello, has urged residents of the FCT to demonstrate the principle of oneness and togetherness to build a formidable front against disunity in the country.
The minister who gave the charge in his new year message noted that the year 2020 was one of the most challenging years in the FCT and across the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He expressed appreciation to health professionals involved in the fight against COVID-19 especially those who paid the supreme price in the line of duty.
The minister used the occasion of the new year to remind residents to adhere strictly to all health protocols as the most effective way to fight COVID-19.

The minister added that the FCT was built on the foundation of unity which was demonstrated in the way the COVID-19 pandemic was collectively fought in the outgone year.
The minister pledged his administration’s commitment to continue to work towards the development of a capital city that all Nigerians will be proud to call home.
