The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has cautioned political parties against making avoidable mistakes capable of destabilizing their internal structures, only to later blame the ruling party, the judiciary, or the electoral umpire.
Speaking during his monthly media chat in Abuja, the minister said the ongoing legal crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) should be blamed on its leadership. According to him, the party made a critical error by appealing a case that had not yet been determined by the lower court.

The minister also weighed in on his party’s recently concluded convention, developments in the politics of his home state, Rivers , as well as other key national issues affecting the FCT and the country at large.
