17,401 (seventeen thousand, four hundred and one) officers and men have been deployed for the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections in the Federal Capital.
FCT Police Commissioner Sadiq Abubakar who gave the figure at a media briefing in Abuja said all security agencies will be working together to ensure violence-free elections in the Nigerian capital.

He said the focus will be on potentially sensitive areas within the Federal Capital Territory.
