The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has dismissed suggestions that the security situation in Abuja has deteriorated following reports of isolated breaches in parts of the city.
Speaking after an inspection tour of projects in Wuye and Kuje Area Councils, the minister said isolated incidents should not be used as a basis to claim that Abuja is no longer safe.

He said security agencies are managing the situation and that the city remains secure for residents and visitors.
