The FCT Directorate of Road Traffic Service, DRTS says it impounded about 233 vehicles for violations of the FCT transportation laws in just one month.
The Director of DRTS, Abdulateef Bello said this during an inspection tour of five commands in the Territory on Wednesday.
The enforcement team of the FCT Directorate of Road Traffic Service, DRTS, was on a sensitization tour of road users in five area commands including Asokoro, Beger Jabi, Mabushi, and Wuye area commands.

The leadership of the Directorate insists on arresting violators of the FCT transportation laws.
Some commercial vehicle operators appealed to the authority for more parking space in the city to ease the transportation challenges commuters in the FCT face daily.
The FCT Administration says it remains worried about the increase in violation of transportation laws across the city center despite the high level of sensitisation.
