Forty persons of proven integrity have been engaged by the FCT directorate of road traffic services and vehicle inspection office to assist in the decongestion and control of traffic in the Territory.
The FCT Squadron Leader and National coordinator of the Road Traffic Officers Mayors,
Yusuf Suberu, charged the inductees to be more committed to service to humanity.
The FCT Road Traffic Service Mayors pledged to contribute their own quota to the growth and development of the FCT by maintaining law and order as well as preventing accidents on roads.
The inductees said there was the need to help in protecting road users in the FCT through volunteer services on the roads while leveraging on their specialized skills and talents.
The organizers advised the volunteers to be truthful, committed and dedicated to their duties
as Mayors of FCT Road Traffic Services.
