The executive council of the federation on Wednesday approved the reversed national health animal policy which will take into consideration the rising cases of diseases coming from animals to infect human.
The council also approved the award of contract for the construction of a new federal inland revenue service office in Lagos state at a total cost of 14.8 billion naira.

The minister of Agriculture Mamood Abubakar explained to state state house correspondents that the reversed policy is geared towards ensuring the importance of animal health because of the frequency of diseases from animals to human.
The minister said that there is need to increase caring for animals wether pets or farm animals,and discovering new diseases.
The memos from the ministry of finance and national planning were also approved by the council.
The memo from the aviation ministry also received approval for the procurement of medical equipment and furniture for the ongoing construction of aviation medical center at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja.
