The Federal Executive Council (FEC), has ratified the treaty for the prohibition of nuclear weapons.
Briefing State House Correspondents on the outcome of the weekly FEC meeting on Wednesday, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said with the ratification, Nigeria becomes the third African country to do so.
Minister of Finance, Budget and National planning Zainab Ahmed explained that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2019 grew by 2.38 percent compared to 1.81 percent in the corresponding quarter.
The FEC approved the sum of 7.249 billion naira for the construction of roads in Oyo, 7.593 billion naira for Niger, and 4.150 billion naira for Kano respectively.
The Federal Ministry of Works and Housing also gave a status report on 524 road projects spread across the country.
