Imo state government is to partner with the federal government to revamp the abandoned Agro Allied Industries in the state.
Receiving the federal Government team led by the executive secretary Paul Ikonne at the government house in owerri Governor Hope Uzodinma said the projects when completed would reduce the rate of unemployment in the state.

The National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MOU with the state government to revive all the moribond industries in the state particularly the Songhai and Achulugo farms.
The executive secretary of NALDA Paul Ikonne said the new partnership will provide at least 4000 jobs for youths in the State.
Governor Uzodinma said the essence of the partnership to Imo state and it’s people cannot be overemphasized.
He commended President Buhari for listing Imo as one of the states to enjoy the pilot programme of the federal government.
It is believed that this initiative will make Imo state one of the food baskets of the nation.
