The Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Works, has commenced repair work on the 76.5-kilometre Malamdo-Warrah to Auna Road linking Kebbi and Niger states, and serving as a vital corridor between Northern and Southern Nigeria.
Speaking on the development, former Kebbi State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mamuda Mohammad-Warrah, commended the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu for facilitating the lifeline infrastructure in the state.
Warrah who made the commendation when speaking to journalists who visited the site at Malando Junction in Ngaski Local Government Area, commended Bagudu’s efforts in transforming what was once considered an impossible dream into a tangible reality.

Mohammad-Warrah also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for responding swiftly to the people’s appeal, and addressing infrastructure challenges in the state, saying there is no way the economic fortunes of Northern Nigeria can improve with dilapidated roads.
