A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has remanded His Royal Highness, Eze CYPRIAN AMADI-WORENWU, the Eze Risi Ohia-Emeri Abali of Rebisi at the Port Harcourt correctional facility on one count charge bothering on Cyber Crime.
The King on 28th Day of March 2023 sent a text message through the phone number of one SUNDAY GIFT-CHIMENEM to threaten and harass the retired Justice ADOLPHUS ENEBELI.
The charge also disclosed how the accused threatened that he knew where retired Justice ADOLPHUS ENEBELI’S son was working and that the retired judge will not live to enjoy his retirement.

According to the charge, Eze AMADI-WORENWU threatened to kill retired Justice ADOLPHUS ENEBELI for refusing to deliver judgment in his favour in a Chieftaincy suit between him and CHRISTOPHER WONODI and others that were delivered on the 20th of March, 2023.
ait.live reports that the accused, Eze AMADI-WORENWU pleaded not guilty to the charge and the trial Judge, Justice EMMANUEL OBELE refused an oral bail application by the defense counsel.
Justice OBELE thereafter adjourned to the 29th of July, 2024 for bail consideration but ordered that the accused be reminded at the Port Harcourt correctional center till the next adjourned date.
